Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: that the 1st SS Panzer Division advanced its front line, on January 5; and of heavy air raids on the north Gironde fortress on January 4 and 5; Naval Headlines; and from the French ambassador in London, on the internal Greek situation, on December 28 and 29.
