A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the 2nd SS Panzer Division is to withdraw, on the night of July 26-27; on Germany: a naval situation report for all areas, for July 26; on the Russian Front: of indications that the Hermann Goering Division is assembling east of Warsaw, on July 26; on South-east Europe: of an air raid on Ploesti, on July 23; Naval Headlines; from the Turkish consul in Hamburg, describing an Allied air raid, on July 21; from the Siamese minister in Berlin, on war prospects, on July 21; from the Swiss minister in Tokyo, that the Japanese expect disaster, on July 20; and from the French delegate in Stockholm to DiploFrance in Algiers, on the German generals' plot, dated July 25.
