A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: that the LXXXI Corps require continuous fighter protection over their battle area, east of the Orne, on June 15; that the LXXXIV Corps suffer total Allied air superiority, with no movement possible, on June 15; the German Air Force (GAF) report little change in the west part of the Normandy Front, on June 15; of Allied air attacks on France, on June 15; and that Air Fleet IX appreciates the chances of success in air attacks on the Normandy beachhead are limited, on June 14; on Germany: Berlin's appreciation of Allied intentions in the West and the Mediterranean, as at June 11; and that GAF HQ was informed that lectures for Wiener-Neustadt aircraft construction workers are impractical as the works has moved to so many factories, on June 2; on South Europe: that German formations on the Adriatic coast lack means of hauling artillery away, on June 11; and on the I Parachute Corps' positions, noting strong enemy tank forces around Orvieto, on June 14.
