Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on South-east Europe: on German Air Force (GAF) airfields in Dalmatia, from August 2; Naval Headlines; from the Japanese minister in Madrid, regarding the Spanish situation, on July 30; and from the Chinese charg� in Berne, describing German demands presented to the new Italian government, on August 2.
