A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines, covering German measures against an Arctic convoy and the activity of Italian shipping bound for Tobruk; from the Brazilian minister in Vichy on German designs on Dakar, as of September 7; from the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, on the war on the Russian Front and Anglo-Soviet relations, as of September 8; and from the Turkish ambassador in London, on pressure for the delivery of war material to Turkey and the training of pilots, on September 8.
