Of the 15-30 divisions which might be withdrawn from the Russian front, some will be required to reinforce the Mediterranean area and others will be sent to Germany for rest and re-equipping for the resumption of the Russian campaign in the Summer of 1943. 9. The Germans will, in the face of a successful "TORCH" and "LIGHTFOOT", have to reinforce the Central Mediterranean area and possibly also the Balkans in the event of increased guerilla activity there.
