Joint Intelligence Organisation in West Africa. Note by the Secretary

3. Directing Staff. The Secretariat of the Joint Intelligence Committee will, initially, consist of a Service secretary and a Civil secretary. In the day to day working of the Organisation this secretariat will be associated with a small executive, consisting of a Chairman appointed by the Minister and representatives of the three Fighting Services. This executive must have power to co-opt Representatives for the consideration of any questions in which they are especially concerned, and also to constitute panels of specialist advisers on particular aspects of the work of the Joint Intelligence Organisation.
