2. Our increasing air strength in the Middle East will probably cause Germany to reinforce her air forces there at the earliest possible moment for the protection of her shipping routes from the Black Sea and to support her land forces. 3. The defences of this country have been strengthened and our Army for home defence is becoming progressively better equipped. 4. Germany could not after the dislocation and wastage of the Russian Campaign withdraw, re-equip and re-group sufficient air forces for full scale invasion operations against this country in less than six weeks after the withdrawal from Russia had begun.
