therefore been requested that the Appreciation by the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee and that by the French in subparagraphs (i) and (ii) above, should be completed by 16th December. 4. It is therefore suggested that, at the daily Meeting of the Sub-Committee to-day, the framework for the SubCommittee's Appreciation should be considered, and, if possible, sufficient guidance and data should be given to the Secretary to allow of the production of a first outline draft which might serve as a basis for discussion early during the following week.
