Should the Sub-Section conclude that an invasion was imminent, it would be their duty to report the fact at once with their arguments, to the Central Executive Authority necessary for taking action. Concrete information coming into possession of Service Intelligence Branches tending to show that an invasion had actually started would be passed by them direct to all the necessary executive authorities. THE SUB-COMMITTEE (a) instructed the Secretary to make these facts clear in the memorandum; (b) to approve the memorandum as amended above, (c) instructed the Secretary to forward the amended memorandum to the Chiefs of Staff for information (d) noted that action under paragraph 6 of the memorandum had already been taken.
