Discussion followed on the best means of meeting the requirements of the Chiefs of Staff for a periodical appreciation from the enemy point of view. It was suggested that it would be desirable for the Committee to produce full appreciations from the enemy point of view of the various possible developments that were likely to take place, such as a German invasion of Holland alone, or a German drive through Hungary into Roumania. These however would have to be in addition to the frequent periodical reports which the Chiefs of Staff required.
