4. It is understood, however, that the present staff of the Air Raid Precautions Department is inadequate to enable a suitably qualified officer to devote the time necessary for the full investigation of the problems, and that unless steps are taken to remedy the position, such investigation will be indefinitely held up. 5. It is suggested that at the meeting to be held on Wednesday next, 2nd March, the Sub-Committee should review the present position, including the data available, regarding the preparation of these outstanding Reports.
