INTELLIGENCE DIVISION -2The figures have been given for each major element concerned in the collection of intelligence on RUSSIA and the satellite states. Typists have been shown separately as they are not held on Intelligence Division establishment. Allied personnel, which consist of Belgians, Dunes .xnC. Dutch, are employed on censorship duties. The Germans are employed on censorship, as "flushers" and also as interrogators on tasks approved by Joint Intelligence Committee (LONDON) (Reference JIC/664/49 dated 8th April,1949).
