(48) P.5, recommending the establishment of a Joint Intelligence Organisation in New Zealand. 2. At Appendix "B" please find Note No. 1 to C.O.S. (48) P.5, showing that Cabinet approval has now been obtained for the establishment of a Joint Intelligence Organisation on the basis submitted by the New Zealand Chiefs of Staff, the position to be reviewed in twelve months' time.
