No. 1 DIRECTIVE TO D. OF I.(0) ON THE WORK OF AIR MINISTRY INTELLIGENCE TARGET SECTION (A.I.3(c)) FUNCTIONS 1. The study of targets and preparation of Target Material can only be undertaken in respect of a limited number of countries at one time and the Air Ministry Intelligence Target Section (A.I.3(c)) will, therefore, work to priorities which will be laid down by me from time to time as necessary. 2. Subject to the priorities laid down, the functions of A.I.3(c) will be:(a) The broad study of a nation's vulnerability to Long Range attack in consultation with J.I.B.
