In the case of Spain and Portugal, we should get survey cover on a scale of 1/30,000 from the Americans and it is suggested that the obtaining of cover on a scale of 1/15,000 be deferred except for such amounts as we can arrange for the Americans to take at the same time as they are getting the survey cover. As regards Yugoslavia, M.A.A.F. are not prepared to authorise their aircraft to make regular flights over the country at present. A small amount of cover has been obtained in the course of flying survey cover of Greece but unless strong representations are made by the J.I.C., it is not likely that much more will be done.
