Csdic Mediterranean

10 Sep 1943

-2(3) It will thus be seen that C.S.D.I.C., Mediterranean represents a centralization, not only of many varying functions, but also of these functions in two separate commands, one British and one Allied. In addition, not only has it to discharge highly complicated operational duties, but also to co-ordinate its various activities with the requirements of the I branches of two separate General Staffs and arrange with the A.G. side in respect of administration, movement of Ps/W etc. (4) Further, by the inclusion of the organisation and operation of Army Interrogation in the Field among the functions of C.S.D.I.C., somewhat anomolous situations may arise, as is evidenced in the A.F.H.Q.
