You will remember that at the meeting of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee held yesterday I was instructed to draft a telegram for despatch by the J.I.C. to the Director of military Intelligence, India, regarding American incursions into the Intelligence and similar fields in India. I was instructed to refer, in particular, to certain points raised by Colonel Vickers as regards the Office of Economic Warfare.
