CONFIDENTIAL GUARD 2. PROPOSED VISIT BY THE SECRETARY OF THE U.S. WATCH COMMITTEE MAJOR GENERAL SHORTT informed the Committee that the War Office had been asked, through the Senior American Liaison Officer, whether a Miss Cynthia Grabo, who was Secretary to the Chairman of the U.S. Watch Committee, could visit the War Office and the Joint Intelligence Committee Secretariat during a visit which she was making to London during the period 20th to 24th June, 1953; it was understood that by "J.I.C. Secretariat" the Americans meant a visit to the Heads of Sections Meeting on the Perimeter Review.
