CONFIDENTIAL 2. S.H.A.P.E. LIAISON FOR COUNTER INTELLIGENCE MATTERS THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary* covering a minute from the British Military Representative S.H.A.P.E., forwarding a letter from S.H.A.P.E. suggesting the establishment of direct liaison between the security officers of S.H.A.P.E.'s major subordinate Commanders and the appropriate Navy, Army and Air Force offices of the nations in which installations and facilities were located: it was proposed that this liaison should be for the purpose of providing security information of a technical nature only.
