CONFIDENTIAL 3. "INTELLIGENCE DIGEST-REVIEW OF WORLD AFFAIRS" (Previous reference: J.I.C.(51)16th Meeting, Minute 6 of 9th February, 1951.) DR. BLOUNT drew the attention of the Committee to a circular which had recently been sent to a large number of people in this country, advertising Kenneth de Courcy's Intelligence Digest. Despite the Prime Minister's statement in the House of Commons of the previous year, the advertisement continued to claim that spectacular results were being achieved by de Courcy's intelligence service and a statement was included to the effect that this service included the running of agents, sometimes underground, behind the Iron Curtain.
