CONFIDENTIAL 1. COMMUNIST INTENTIONS IN THE FAR EAST AND SOUTH EAST ASIA DURING THE NEXT SIX MONTHS IN THE LIGHT OF THE CEASE FIRE TALKS IN KOREA. THE COMMITTEE considered a draft report+ reviewing Communist intentions in the Far East and South East Asia during the next six months in the light of the Cease-Fire Talks in Korea. The Committee considered the draft report paragraph by paragraph and certain amendments were suggested and approved. THE COMMITTEE:Approved the draft report as amended in discussion and instructed the Secretary to submit it to the Chiefs of Stuff.
