CONFIDENTIAL current regulations issued in regard to the security of economic information and the publication of information on munitions production. COLONEL WILLIAMS questioned whether there would, in fact, be any point in publishing the book under a security classification; he though it likely that the object of its publication would be defeated if the book were "Restricted"; unless it was assumed that it would be valuable for reference by official departments. In discussion of this point it was generally agreed that the document was already available as classified material; therefore, the only point for consideration was whether agreement should be given to publishing the book openly, with the result Substitute:"LIEUTENANT COLONEL SWORD referred to a letter dated 28th November, 1950, from Mr.
