service to S.H.A.P.E. fell short of what it should be. He had prepared a draft reply to that letter, copies of which were circulated at the meeting, and he would be grateful if Directors would pass any comments that they might have, by tolephone if possible, to the Secretary later in the day. Meanwhile, he suggested that the weekly summary for S.H.A.P.E. should be considerably expended to meet that Headquarters' requirements. THE COMMITTEE:(3) Agreed to forward their comments to the Secretary on the draft reply to Generel Eisenhower.
