TOP SECRET THE COMMITTEE then considered the remaining paragraphs of the report and made the following points:Paraggaph 7 It was considered that the reference to India and pakistan in sub-paragraph (d) was no longer relevant and the sub-paragraph should be deleted. Actual Russian intervention in Korea was, however, a limited military action which might yield further success without precipitating total war and should, therefore, be included in that paragrnph. Peragraph 8 The situation referred to in this paragraph no longer opplied to South East Asia and the reference to that theatre should, therefore, be deleted.
