TOP SECRET 3. REVIEW OF THE SITUATION ROUND THE SOVIET AND SATELLITE PERIMETER. (Previous reference: J.I.C.(50)130th Meeting, Minute 7 of 30th November, 1950). THE COMMITTEE had their weekly discussion to review the situation round the Soviet and Satellite perimeter to determine whether there were any fresh indications of Soviet or Soviet inspired aggressive moves. SOVIET AND WESTERN SECTOR (See Annex). FAR EAST. China and Korea Chinese and North Korean propaganda had continued to insist upon the acceptance of the 38th Parallel by the United Nations forces.
