TOP SECRET 2. OUTLINE OF THE SCALE AND NATURE OF AIR ATTACK ON THE UNITED KINGDOM 1951/54. THE COMMITTEE considered the views of the Chiefs of Staff as recorded in the minutes of their meeting of the 17th July 1951+ when considering the report⊗ on the outline of the scale and nature of air attack on the United Kingdom 1951/54. The Committee first discussed the criticisms of the Chiefs of Staff on their estimate of the weapons which the enemy was likely to use. These criticisms had been made despite the fact that approval had already been given to the original report on the scale and nature of air attack on the United Kingdomø.
