TOP SECRET THE COMMITTEE:(2) Invited the Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Intelligence) to follow up this report to assess, if possible, its reliability. It was also reported that U.S. bombers recently encountered heavy anti-aircraft fire over Pyongyang. It was thought that this fire came from some 80 heavy antiaircraft guns and 150 light anti-aircraft guns and was radar controlled. If this estimate was true the possibility could not be excluded that some of them might be manned by non-Chinese/North Korean troops.
