SECRET 1. ASSESSMENT OF THE THREAT OF SABOTAGE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM IN PEACE AND IN WAR AND COUNTER MEASURES. (previous reference J.I.C. (50) 130th Meeting, Minute 5 of 30th November, 1950). The Committee had before them a Minute+ by the Secretary attaching a report by the Security Service on the assessment of the threat of sabotage in the United Kingdom in peace and war, also a draft covering report. The Security Service had prepared the report before the Committee in accordance with the Committee's previous invitation that they should review, and bring up to date, a previous reportx on the same subject, which had been written in June 1949.
