1. EVIDENCE OF SOVIET DECEPTION METHODS. TOP SECRET THE COMMITTEE had a discussion with the Director of Forward Plans on Soviet intentions and the evidence that the Soviet Union might be employing methods of deception. MR. DREW said that this was a question of considerable importance to his work and he would therefore be grateful if all members of the Committee would pay particular attention to intelligence which might in any way provide indications of Soviet deception and could pass to him anything which contained even the slightest hint of deceptive material.
