REVIEW OF DEPLOYMENT OF SERVICE ATTACHES RESTRICTED THE COMMITTEE considered a minute by the Secretary≬ on the subject of the annual review of the deployment of Service Attaches. Since the review had been introduced in 1947, it had been the practice for the Services' Attaches Sub-Committee to review the situation annually, and though not specifically instructed to do so, the recent practice had been to submit the review through the Joint Intelligence Committee to the Chiefs of Staff who had in turn put it before the Minister of Defence.
