JAGGERS said that it must be remembered that it was only comparatively recently that the aircraft industry had been faced with serious cuts in production orders and consequent laying off of employees. When production was increased and hope revived for these men, it was obviously impossible to keep such knowledge from the employees concerned, and consequently from the local and national Press.
