SECRET THE COMMITTEE:(1) Agreed to defer consideration of the requirement for air survey in Indo-China until the views of the Joint Planning Staff were known. (2) Invited the War Office to obtain the views of the Director of Military Survey on the point at 'X' above. 3. SOVIET PREPAREDNESS FOR WAR. TOP SECRET (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(50) 121st Meeting, Minute 3) THE COMMITTEE had their weekly discussion on Soviet preparedness for aggressive action and agreed that there were no indications of Soviet or Soviet-inspired aggression around the Soviet perimeter.
