SECRET THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a minute by the Foreign Office, together with telegrams≠ from Wahnerheide to the Foreign Office on the position of the British Exchange Mission to the Soviet Zone (BRIXMIS). MR. BRAIN said that he had asked for the telegrams to be circulated in order that the Committee should be aware of the situation concerning BRIXMIS whereby, for the present, members were only able to travel between Potsdam and Berlin with temporary permits renewed at frequent intervals. + J.I.C./985/50. ≠ Nos. 758 and 779. -2-
