EXCHANGE AND DISCLOSURE SECRET OF INTELLIGENCE THE COMMITTEE took note, with interest, of a statement by the Director of Naval Intelligence on recent discussions regarding the exchange and disclosure of intelligence, details of which have been circulated separately as a Confidential Annex. 4. MEETING WITH CHAIRMAN, J.I.C. CANADA UNCLASSIFIED THE COMMITTEE took note, with interest, of a statement by Mr. G.P. de T. Glazebrook, Chairman of the Canadian Joint Intelligence Committee, and thanked him for giving them the benefit of his views. 5. SITUATION IN CENTRAL AMERICA CONFIDENTIAL GUARD (Previous Reference: J.I.C. (50) 14th Meeting, Minute 3). THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a draft terms of reference for a report on possible developments in the military situation in Central America, which had been prepared in accordance with the instructions of the Committee at their previous meeting on this subject. In discussion, certain amendments to the draft terms of reference were suggested and approved. THE COMMITTEE:- Approved the draft terms of reference as amended in discussion, and instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to prepare a draft report accordingly. + J.I.C./266/50. -2-
