3. PROVISION OF RADAR EQUIPMENT TO POLAND. (Previous reference:J.I.C.(48) 83rd Meeting(0) Minute 2). GROUP CAPTAIN BRODIE informed the Committee that no undertaking had been given to the Poles to provide them with a radar set for wind direction finding, for which they had asked, and that no issue would be made by the Director of the Meteorological Office without official clearance. If it was considered that the provision of this equipment would assist the Poles to increase their war potential, he suggested that the Joint War Production Staff should be informed accordingly and invited to consider the action that should be taken.
