It seemed to us likely that the simplest method would be for an officer or officers to participate in discussions when joint appreciations of the kind in question were drafted; it might also be though desirable for an officer to be available for liaison with the members of the Committee themselves and to participate in its meetings by invitation as appropriate when appreciations of the kind were being discussed.
