Periodic Intelligence Summary for the Western European Regional Planning Group - 1st April, 1950

SECRET 4. After the initial summary under paragraph 1 above has been issued, amendments thereto should be issued on the following basis:(a) order of Battle. (i) Soviet Army. Each month a list of amendments should be prepared, and a complete new order of battle issued every sixth month. (ii) Satellite Armies. Each month the order of battle for one of the Satellite Armies should be re-written, the countries concerned being dealt with normally in rotation. (iii) Soviet and Satellite Air Forces. Each month a re-issue should be made of the order of battle summary giving totals by types and arms, and location by areas, but not unit identifications.
