Possibility of War Before the End of 1956. Report by the Joint Intelligence Committee

(b) instruct the Secretary, subject to the approval of the Minister of Defence, to send copies of the report to:(i) the Commanders-in-Chief, Middle East, (ii) the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, seeking their comments, (iii) the United Kingdom Representative on the Five Power Military Committee for use as a brief, with instructions that any combined paper prepared from it should be accorded the same security restrictions as those applied to the previous intelligence brief+ on Soviet intentions and capabilities.
