In spite of the reduction in the total number of aircraft in these two countries, there has apparantly been a slight increase in Bulgaria. No particular significance is to be attached to this development. 13. Our assessment of the overall preparedeness of the air forces in the various countries is that some 50 per cent of all aircraft might be fit for operational duties at the present time.
