A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: from the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs to the ambassador in Moscow, on a Japanese colonel's lecture on Soviet intentions, on May 23; and from the Chinese military attaché in Berne, on Soviet attitudes to Britain and the U.S., on May 24.
