Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines; from the French Foreign Minister in San Francisco, that Molotov seeks French cooperation at the conference; from the German Legation in Stockholm, that Ribbentrop seeks reports on political developments from Madrid, Berne, Lisbon, Tokyo and Shanghai, on April 29; and that Tokyo reports no change, while Madrid reports on improved Anglo-Spanish relations and the Spanish views on Germany, on April 30; from the Spanish minister in Ankara, on nationalist groups in Ukraine, on May 5; and from the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs, that the Japanese cabinet decides its policy on pursuing the war after the German surrender, on May 2.
