A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: BONIFACE military headlines; on West Europe: a report from the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) for the Northwest, on April 30, stating that the Allies are across the Elbe; on the situation in the area of the C-in-C for the Northwest, on the evening of April 29; that Kesselring tells his troops to ignore peace offers, on April 29; and of the 7th Army being forbidden to negotiate with the enemy except to recover the wounded, on April 29; on Germany: of the 2nd SS Panzer Division unloading in an area east of Dresden, on April 26; on South Europe: of the 73rd Army Corps thinning out its forces on the coast to occupy the entrances to the mountains, on April 28; and on Czechoslovakia: that Himmler gives Frank freedom of action; and that German women and children must be brought back, on April 28.
