A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of Allied reinforcements crossing the Remagen bridges, and that the German Air Force (GAF) are to attack them on March 12; a GAF report on strengthening of the Remagen bridge, on March 11; on the ground situation, as of March 11; of the 2nd Parachute Corps' intention to hold the Wesel bridgehead, on March 8; that Hitler authorises pulling back from three bridgeheads, on March 11; of 13,000 Soviet prisoners, voluntary assistant candidates, being brought up to the front, on March 6; that GAF operations are not possible due to the destruction of the Lippe and Breitscheid airfields; and that the coming swimming saboteur operations are to be treated with the utmost secrecy, on March 5 and 8 - the Prime Minister (PM) presumes Eisenhower has been informed; on South Europe: that naval small battle units are to raid and prepare for commando raids against Ancona harbour and airfield on March 12; on East Europe: that Hitler's HQ orders a reduction in the transportation of refugees because of the military situation, on March 5; that Army Group North expects a Soviet attack to split the 4th Army's bridgehead; that the Fuehrer forbids the 2nd Army to withdraw, on March 10; and of the 2nd Army holding off Soviet attacks, on March 10.
