A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of German Air Force (GAF) operational orders for March 9; and that surveys for the construction of flying bomb launch sites are to be carried out on Reich territory because of the increased range of the bombs, on March 5; Naval Headlines; from the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs to the ambassador in Moscow, instructions to open negotiations with the Soviets on a treaty, on March 5; from the French ambassador in Moscow, describing a conversation with Mr Harriman on France's exclusion from Yalta and the allocation of an occupation zone in Germany; and on U.S.-Soviet negotiations on the San Francisco Conference, on March 3 and 4; and from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the Yalta Conference and the future of Germany, from February 19.
