Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: from the Japanese naval attach?n Berlin, an estimate of the German Air Force's (GAF's) strength, on February 22; and a request from the Prime Minister (PM) to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) for a note on German aircraft production; the CAS's reply is not included - it was detached by the PM.
