Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE report; on South-east Europe: that the 4th Air Fleet states that the area south-west of Budapest might acquire increased importance with the continuance of the Russian attack, on January 31; Naval Headlines; from the Greek Consul, Adrianople, in Ankara: on conditions in ELAS (Greek People's Liberation Army)-controlled Thrace, on January 28; on Western Europe: that specific units from the Ardennes Front are to be given up to Army Group H, on January 27; and of orders to bring up the 7th Field Eratz Battalion to the 7th Parachute Division, on January 21.
