Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Germany: that the demand for ammunition can only be met, if consumption is restricted to main operations, on January 11; and that divisions in the east are to have horse-drawn transport, and the Commanders in Chief (C-in-Cs) for the West and Southwest are to state if this is desirable for their Panzer units, on January 6; on West Europe: of German Air Force (GAF) flying groups transferring to the east, on January 17; and that Hitler orders Army Group B to give up all its SS Panzer divisions for employment elsewhere, on January 10; and on East Europe: that divisions are to transfer to the Danzig area, on January 17.
