Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines; from the Turkish minister in Stockholm, that the German successful offensive raises morale, on January 12; from the Turkish ambassador in Moscow, on the venue for an Allied three-power meeting, on January 14; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, forwarding a German view of the Allies' dissension on the war and post-war policy, on January 12; from the Persian Ministry for Foreign Affairs with the embassies in Washington and London, noting Persian interest in the coming three-power meeting, from January 3-10; and from the German Legation in Dublin, on V weapons and British morale, and the effect of extension of the operation on British and U.S. morale, on January 9.
