Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Western Europe: that the 1st SS Panzer Division is to be transferred, on January 6; that operations beyond the front line into enemy territory are not to be carried out until full operational readiness of a day fighter unit is restored, on January 7; that forty older-type aircraft of a night fighter unit are to be surrendered by January 15 for use in composite aircraft operations, dated January 6; that the situation at the front necessitates an acceleration of pilot training, on January 6; Naval Headlines; and from Aghnides in London, that the Greek King sends good wishes to the Regent and Mr Papandreou, on January 4.
